1. Warm Salt Water Gargle

Directions
Heat one glass of water and make it warm enough to be tolerated by your mouth. Add half to quarter teaspoon of salt in warm water and mix well. Gargle with this water in regular intervals for 3 to 4 times in a day. This will give you instant relief from sore throat.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey

Along with many benefits of apple cider vinegar it works well on your sore throat also. When mixed with honey apple cider vinegar is very useful for treating sore throat. It has high amount of acidity which is helpful to kill bacteria causes swelling and honey works well to soothing the sore throat.

Directions
Mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey in 1 cup of warm water. Drink this slowly and make sure it remains warm while you drink. If you can’t drink it because of the strong taste apple vinegar has. Gargle with this warm drink once daily.

3. Suck Garlic Clove

Garlic is one product easily found in your kitchen known to deliver multiple health benefits. Although sucking a raw garlic clove will make your mouth smells bad but it is one of the best remedy for your sore throat. Sucking a piece of garlic is beneficial for your swallowed throat. Compound called allicin found in garlic act on bacteria that cause pain and irritation in throat.

Directions
Put one piece of garlic clove each in both sides of mouth and sucks it. Suck it slowly and occasionally crush the cloves with teeth that will release the allicin. Don’t do this more than once as excess garlic will cause heart burn.

4. Honey and Lemon Juice

Drinking juice made from honey and lemon and is not only beneficial for sore throat but also protects from common health ailments. It can’t get more natural than using honey and lemon. Both are natural products, honey comes from bees and lemons grow on tree. So make a habit of drinking honey and lemon juice every morning empty stomach. Boil about a mug full of water in a pan on your gas stove. Make sure water you boiled it properly. Pour the boiled water in bath mug and put the mug on table. Lean over the mug and start taking the steam coming from boiled water. Cover your head with a bath towel to make a tent to store steam. It is good to do while you going to bed because you are advised not to go in open air after taking steam.

6. Cayenne Pepper Gargle

All hot peppers contain capsaicin which is chemical compound known to give temporary relief from pain. The process being same just like salt water gargle you have to gargle with warm water mixed with cayenne powder.

Take a glass of hot water glass and mix a big size pinch to half teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder in it. Be careful in regard to its quantity and more pepper can burn your throat. Optionally you can add a tablespoon of honey to lessen pepper burn. Stir it well and gargle while water is still warm enough. This will help your throat.
